Absolutely not! MLM, Network Marketing, and Pyramid schemes rely on grossly overpriced and often misrepresented products not found elsewhere in the marketplace- so a price comparison cannot be made. These companies then claim you will earn large sums of money for very little work, as there is so much profit in the overpriced product. Most people who have participated in these types of programs will testify that these products are not easy to sell. The real selling point to these programs is not the product itself, but to participate in the program and make large sums of money. MLM stands for Multi-Level Marketing. Each level is in communication with the levels below and is required to do a lot of cheerleading (marketing) to these lower levels if they ever expect to earn any income from the overpriced products. In MLM, the business structure is the only true thing that keeps the over-priced product selling.
